About us

We are the Friends of Sister Teresa Chikaba Around the World Association. We work alongside the Dominican Sisters of Las Dueñas to share the life and spiritual legacy of Teresa Juliana of Saint Dominic and promote awareness of her cause for beatification.

A shared mission

Our work focuses on sharing her story, prayer, and organising cultural and educational activities. We collaborate with the Dominican community and institutions that help bring her story to people in Salamanca and elsewhere.

Public recognition

On 11 May 2026, the Association received public recognition during a Eucharist presided over by the Bishop of Salamanca, Bishop José Luis Retana, at Las Dueñas Monastery.
